Thank you for your patience, as this edition of our newsletter is a bit delayed. We are upgrading our computer systems and data bases and have expanded our library of resources. We hope this will help us be more efficient and thorough as we present the facts of Scott's case to you.
 
We also are committed to helping the appeals process in any way we can and we have been putting much effort into research for that as well. Our appellate attorneys are continually expanding their knowledge of the case. As they do, they are able to direct investigative resources toward areas of the case that may be addressed in the brief they will submit to the court. Our best guess is that we still have at least 4 years before Scott's case is heard by the court. Scott probably would not have even been assigned an attorney by the state for four more years, so we are very grateful that we were able to retain an attorney to speed up the appellate process.
