I will never understand why people believe what they hear and read in the media. In the past few years I have developed somewhat of an obsession that I like to call a hobby of researching criminal court cases. I am overwhelmed by the number of cases that simply do not have significant evidence to convict someone beyond a reasonable doubt. I wonder if jurors fully understand the premise of this statement. I have always understood it to mean if one tiny detail could cast doubt on the prosecutions case you must return a not-guilty verdict. I am sorry for your family that the media exploited Scott, Laci and Baby Conner the way they did. Even through all of the untruths reported I did not think that the police had enough evidence to even bring charges against Scott. I hope that Scott is able to win an appeal and maybe this time be granted a fair trial. I doubt they can practice in California, but maybe you should contact Leslie Balin and Steve Forese. They are a powerhouse defense team in Memphis, Tn.

I'm glad I found this web Site. I too like to follow criminal cases and and always found it ridicules the way they convicted Scott Peterson. At this point only God truly knows WHO committed such gross crimes. I have read and watched everything there is out there in regards this case ...and I still don't see PROOF that Scott Peterson committed these crimes. The only thing there is PROOF of is proof on infidelity and lies from a husband to a wife. Sad to say but, it does happens 80% of times in American marriages.
Dear Peterson Family, I hope everyone is doing okay. I know next week is going to be very hard for all of the family Conner would have been six years old. I know this is going to be very upsetting for Scott another birthday Conner won't be able to celebrate.My heart goes out to you Scott may god watch over you. I just want to say about this hold ordeal about Scott turning Conner's room into a storage room there were only a few chairs and bedding in the room not to mention the bedding was neatly placed over the arms of Conner's rocking chair. If Scott was using his room for storage then he would have just thrown everything in the room instead of placing it neatly in there. I know deep in my heart Scott would do anything in his power if he could have Laci and Conner back.God bless the peterson family, but most of all god bless Scott ,Laci and Conner. Rhonda

I completely agree....the whole topic of Scott using the nursery for a storage room is over the top. Did they not see how Scott stores stuff??????? I am not trying to be funny here...but come on. The chairs were rolled in...the bedding neatly placed over the crib rail. Again....LOOK at the picture of Scotts storage unit.... This was so exaggerated by the media and by the prosecutor!!!!! Sending the Peterson family and Scott many hugs this month. Happy Birthday Angel Conner..... LynneS
Its very sad how the media plays with our minds. I will never understand how anyone could have found scott guilty.I just know one day scott will be set free. I will never believe he did it. The police should have done their jobs and found the real killer.Everytime I read any info about scotts case well it just drives me nuts! I also think who ever killed laci and connor dumped their bodies right where the police said scott was. How is it they started searching for laci in the bay right from the word go and nvever found her but then she just washes up?! Yea ok. Something is fishy and it aint the fish.
I was never convinced that Scott was guilty.
No effort was taken to investigate any other possibilities. Read the book by Michael Gruber:"Tropic of Night"in which very similar ritualistic murders were described. I understand that some physical evidence could have been interpreted in this fashion.Defence hinted on this possibility but nobody relevant(police) acted on it-as far as I know. |
