For every 8.7 people that have been executed in the United States since 1973, 1 death row inmate has been exonerated. California currently has 667 death row inmates. Dear Peterson family, thank you for sharing the information about the death penalty. I have always known that Scott is innocent it is really sad that he has to be in that awful place everyday. I pray everyday that he wins his appeal. I believe if all of his supporters work together we can bring Scott home to his family. Today, I spent my birthday with friends and loved ones and I started to think of all of the birthdays Scott missed with his family. Along those lines, there are two other people who will not celebrate their birthdays with Scott, his parents and Laci's parents. Yes, I am talking about Laci and their son Conner. There is an evil person out there, still on the loose. He is living free while Scott is on death row.
Thanks for the information. I am so thankful that Michigan does not have the death penalty. I hope that in the future...in the near future...other states will also get rid of the death penalty.

Thanks for all the information about the cost of people who are on Death Row in the United States. This is only a suggestion that you go on The Larry King Show to let people who do not know about the cost of people who are on Death Row and to tell people about the Civil Suit being dropped and to let us know how Scott is doing . I know that Larry will ask questions of how the appeal is going and that you can not say. I am always thinking of Scott daily and the injustice that your family is going through.

That whole case and Scott being sentenced to death is making me sick, imagining what he must be going through right now.
Obviously i believe him ( all of you ). Reading that Police made public statements about Scotts whereabouts at crucial times shortly after Laci went missing, left me speechless - there goes prosecutions only evidence that could be called remotely substantial IMO. What is wrong with those law-enforcers and prosecuters, going out of their way in order to set up the guy who lost his wife and child ?! How could the jury not get this important fact about Scotts alibi being publicly proclaimed - not exactly textbook methods of investigation, I guess. And that statement "Who would drive 90 miles to dumb a body", is beyond ridiculous and could roughly be translated into - " Ok, lets face it we have next to nothing actually a case so weak its not even funny .. but this jury looks like they more or less want to swallow anything, as long as I keep exclaiming remotely case related gibberish ." I hope times are gettin better 4 all of you..I am pretty sure they will and Scott will be released. Jurisdiction in the US seems 2 be highly sleazy, biased and incompetent at large, judging from what I've read. Still death-sentencing a guy without any proof whatsoever is quite a feature and represents a decent-sized scandal IMO.
From day one, I have been deeply bothered by this case. I spent months and months and countless hours doing research on this case. I truly believe that Lt. Aponte holds the key to solving these murders! I can't believe all these years have passed (Connor would be in 1st grade already) and no appeal in sight. It's so sad and I'll continue to pray from Scott and his family.

Do not give up. Every time I read or hear in the news about someone being cleared from DNA and released from prison I think of you. Makes me wonder what points can be done to free you. Prayers to you and each one in your family. May the truth truly set you free. |
